Move your group
You shouldn't have to rebuild your community from scratch just because you change platforms. Bring the members you already have, and pick up where you left off.
How it works
- Create your group. Name it, say where it meets and choose the topics it covers. Your group is yours to set up the way it already works.
- Import your members. Download the template, fill in your existing member list and upload it. You see a preview of exactly who will be invited before anything is saved - including anyone who already has an account here.
- Let your members join you. Everyone in the import is invited by email and activates their own account, so nobody is signed up on their behalf and no passwords change hands.
- Start scheduling events. Publish your first event and your members see it on your group page, with RSVPs, attendance limits and waitlists handled for you.
What comes across
The import takes a CSV file with a first name, last name and email address for each member. Anyone who already has an account is recognised rather than duplicated, and anyone already in your group is skipped.
Events are not imported - your group starts with a clean calendar. Everything else about how your group runs is set up here: who can see your events, who can respond, who can join, and which organisers can do what.
Ready when you are
Group Squirrel provides the infrastructure. You run the community. No rebuilding your member list. No starting over.
